AN APROXIMATION TO THE DEFINITION OF MODELS OF USE OF THE NORTH COAST OF SANTA CRUZ
Main Article Content
Abstract
From data obtained trough a regional archaeological approach, we postulate two models of use of the north coast of Santa Cruz. These models try to explain the archaeological variability observed in the studying area. To achieve this we defi ned a general typology of sites on the basis of three variables: artifact type, size and density. By the analysis of the differences within the proportional presence of the different kind of sites types, we enunciated a theoretical model of settlement and economical use of the littoral areas.
